By accessing or using Elart ("the Platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Elart (Pvt) Ltd, registered in Sri Lanka.
All orders are subject to acceptance by the artisan studio. Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, inventory unavailability, or suspected fraud.
Payment is processed at the time of checkout. Customer funds are held securely in escrow and are only released to the artisan vendor after courier tracking confirms successful delivery and the buyer has inspected the craft.
You have 14 calendar days from delivery to inspect your handcrafted item and report any transit damage or defects. If no dispute is raised, funds are released to the artisan.
To sell on Elart, you must complete the artisan application process, verifying that your items are authentic Sri Lankan handmade crafts, textiles, pottery, woodcraft, metalwork, or art.
Elart charges a flat 20% commission on each completed sale (the artisan keeps 80% of the sale price). There are zero listing fees, no monthly shop subscription fees, and no hidden charges.
Vendor payouts are processed every fortnight (14 days) and transferred directly to the seller's registered Sri Lankan commercial bank account once their available balance exceeds Rs. 10,000.
In the event of an approved return or refund due to damage or defect, the platform commission is waived or reversed proportionally.
Every shipment is covered by our Transit Damage Protection. If a craft arrives damaged or broken, buyers must provide photographic proof within 48 hours for a free replacement or full refund. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Artisans retain full copyright ownership of their original craft designs, product photos, and workshop branding. By listing on Elart, vendors grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and market their crafts across global channels.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
